Quasimodus is Claudius Frollo's biggest mistake. Frollo executed the cultist who smuggled him into the city and confiscated him as 'heretical material,' but a sanctioned psyker received a vision and convinced Frollo not to execute the vile beast.

Unfortunately, Quasimodus grew to be exactly what one would expect from a vile mutant, and now Frollow must hunt him. To this day, Frollo refuses to trust sanctioned psykers. He considers them witches as much as any heretic.

Beauty and the Beast is a real kick in the face as far as reversing pro/antagonistic leanings. The whole point of Beauty and the Beast is that even if he's a monster, he's still a wonderful human underneath. In 40k, if they are a monster, spending time with them will corrupt you and turn you into a monster.

Which turns the 'Beauty and the Beast' story on its ear. Instead of being a story exalting the ideal of beauty as only skin-deep, it becomes a warning against the perils of an open mind when dealing with the monsters in the universe. After all, pretending to be your friend, then corrupting and using you is what Chaos WANTS to do.

I'd suggest Nurgle worshipping mutant.

He could also be unaligned, like a number of chaos followers undoubtedly are. That said, I'd recommend Slaanesh. As a horrible mishapen lump alot of lifes pleasures are out of his reach. I imagine his original cause for worshiping the ruinous powers would be to attain what he could not normally. Tzeentch might also work for this, if he wants to seek power to exert.

Here's what I have so far for Quasimodus himself.

I plan to have the gargoyles representing various chaos powers, all for the various things he wishes for due to his isolation. Probably no Tzeentch, though. Quasimodus never had much hope to call out to him.
