My opinion is basically summed up as

1. She's taller, deliberately on the staff's part. It was instantly noticeable after her Alicornification
2. The animators are lazy/inconsistent and sometimes she appears scaled to a similar size as the others in S4
3. She appears to be getting even taller over S4 but I can't say for sure, it might not be intentionally. She looks really big in Bats!
4. I cannot fathom how there are people who either genuinely still haven't noticed the change or else believe she hasn't grown and it's just perspective. Then again I'm obsessed with Twilight and would notice a misplaced hair on her head at this rate.

I personally did not like the song, mostly because it just felt...forced is maybe the word I have for it, and it felt really weird to me for everyone to immediately agree that the best solution was get rid of the bats, particularly them all looking so angry about it. Pinkie in particular was jarring.

I dunno, the song just had this weird vibe to it with me, and the style they were going for just fell flat on its face for me, it's a forgettable song for me which is a shame because I like AJ's singing voice, episode as a whole was a 7/10, beginning sucked but the vampireshy thing was fool, funny and kinda sexy all at once.

I think the song was dark because AJ has an emotional involvement with the bats considering they have almost destroyed the farm in the past, she let her emotions get the better of her and it showed in her lyrics

Between AJs emotional involvement towards the bats and Fluttershy's humane nature towards handling animals was handled really well in the episode

Usually when they turn a pony into a cunt for the sake of the plot it's usually off putting and unbelievable but this time they were risking AJ and her family's well-being so she had plenty of reasons to act the way she did
