WANT DO @ Metroid II remake. That was my first and my favorite Metroid game to this day.
Edit: after watching through the video my opinion has changed slightly. They've added in things such as the super bomb and the ledge grab, and while those are welcome additions, they'd kinda ruin the original memory of the game for me, when it didn't have anything fancy, just better graphics and a new gadget or two. Part of the original's fun was it's simplicity. I hope the addition of all sorts of new crap and the update to the modern interpretation of Metroids doesn't ruin it (especially the Omega Metroid, if it looks like it did in Metroid Fusion I'll tear the place apart, it didn't work like that in Metroid II).
I guess that makes me a purist, but I just want my Metroid II DX that Nintendo's denied me all these years not a redesign of the game ;-;
