OKAY, So I made  a mention of wanting to do a RP set up in the Dragon Ball universe and only Buzzard was around, who said yay. This is not enough of a response, I would like to know if anyone besides collguy Buzzard wanted to do such a thang. If 3-4 people say yes, I'll post what I have of the settings and stuff I got in my head. And just for reference, this is kind of what I got.

This story is set in, of course, the Dragon Universe. It is set 100 years before Gokue is even born! The Saiyans have yet to be subjugated by King Cold (Freiza's papa). Master Roshi is very young, I guess since he's old in Dragon Ball. Lord Slug the Super Namek has just set out on his rampage throughout the universe. So that gives a decent reference I hope. The Saiyans have been space-born for 10-20 years now, joining the other space-faring races like the Namekians. There have been rumors of artifacts of power running around. So many groups have been formed to get such things, one of the groups will be you guys.

You can play pretty much any race except SSJ and Human. It will likely be turn-based battle with some possible flight. That's about it.

Name: Explanatory

Gender: Explanatory

Race: Pick pretty much any race you want. You can make up your own or pick any pre-made race. I.E. Namek, Saiyan, Android, Changeling (Think Freiza's race), even a Kai!

Physical Description: Again, easy here. Try to be pretty detailed.

Mental/Style: If you've done this before, you know what to expect. For those that haven't, supply their personality and adhere to it during the RP. Then follow up how the character acts in battle.

History: Brief or long. Make it readable.

Ki Color: What color is your charging aura? The blasts?

Basic attacks: Gimme three basic attacks, either physical or ki-based.

Super: What's your super move? You need max Ki to pull this off, you can't use it as the first move in most situations.

Ultimate: What is your end-all move? You need max Ki, can't use it as first move, ever. Once you use it, hit or miss, you have to sit it out a round or two.

Equipment: 2-3 pieces. Weapons, Armor, Scouter, whatever.

Stats: I'm going to try and be basic. You have HP, Ki, Attack, Defense, Flight, and a 6th option for you to make. You have 15 points to spend and start with 5 HP.

Power Level: It's not over NINE THOUSAAAAAANNND. Everyone starts at 10. Once you get started on your path you may and likely grow by leaps and bounds.

HP: How many hits you can take before a nap. 0 means you are knocked out, if you are attacked with a super or ultimate blast, your character is dead.

Ki: How much energy you have to use in the form of attacks. A single Ki ball takes 1 Ki. Flying also takes X Ki a turn depend on your level. You gain 1 Ki by hitting someone with your fists, feet, or other body part. You can also take a turn to charge 2 Ki. This can be modified by your 6th ability.

Attack: You add AP onto your attack roll. You add this onto your physical attacks.

Defense: You subtracts your DP from your attacker's roll.

Flight: 1, you can fly. It also drains 2 energy per turn. 2, drains 1 energy. 3, no energy drain. Some of your moves can only achieve 100% effectiveness while flying.

Your Sixth Sense. I mean Stat: You can make it a racial skill, ki reduction cost. Pretty open-ended. Some examples are, Regeneration, Bonus to attack, evasion.
!!IMPORTANT!! If you decide to go with a transforming character, that is your sixth skill.

* Energy Control Stat: Effects the ability to block and deflect energy attacks with bare hands, or even

History: "The home Planet of the Hemadeins is at war, looking for warriors to fight in space alongside their Space Fleet. I high-tailed it before the Draft. Don't want to fight in a Hemadein Fighter Wing and especially not outside of one! Do you know how cold it is in space with nothing on? We live on the surface for a reason. Naw man, give me a tropical beach anyday! Maybe I can be something else, Rock Star maybe? Sounds difficult, probably want you to road all across the East Galaxy. But maybe it would be worth it.

I like to fight but not in some war where I'll be gunned down in the first minute, this Artifact job looks more low-key. I bet it just requires me to dig out ruins."

BASIC ATTACKS:

Martial Arts (Physical): Ability to fight with Martial Arts.

Hand Blast (Ki): A fast simple Ki Blast, for when Bosom Beam is unessesary. Explodes on impact.

Bosom Beam (Ki): Signature Move. A long straight beam attack with a silly name, executed by placing the hands at both
sides of the chest forming cemicircles. The beam actually comes from the chest and will probably
put a hole in your best shirt! This move is usually not the first choice of women fighters for that reason.
However after Ki is used up, the beam continues as needed, draining the users stats in replacement for Ki
starting with the least important statistic. It starts with Ki, going through all stats and ending with HP.
Stats (Not HP) can be recovered by charging as you would with Ki or by resting.

FINISHING MOVES:

Super: Burning Suppository!!! A super-dense rotating energy oval is formed, and is remotely controlled by the user to
chase the enemy. Until it sticks where the sun don't shine and explodes in a firey blast! Two can be formed and controlled
at once to chase multiple opponenets or just one enemy, this is simply called the "Burning Suppository x2!!!"

Ultimate: Self-Destruct, most powerful attack that can be executed by a player, but costs the users life.

Gained 2 Power Levels and 1 Stat Point from Basic Training.

Gender: Male
Race: Android

Physical Description: An android with bright green eyes and spiky brown hair. With an unnaturally tall and thin body, Echo looks more skeletal than alive. On top of that, his pointed ears make him look almost bat-like in appearance. His entire outfit is red, but appears to be able to change color to match its surroundings.

Personality: Serious, Quiet, always deep in thought.
Likes: Forests, Caves, pretty much anywhere where visibility is limited.
Dislikes: Engineers, mechanics, pretty much anyone who might try to tinker with him; open spaces
Fighting Mentality: Often prefers to fight in places where visibility is limited, using camouflage as much as possible. Prefers ranged fighting but is willing to fight in close combat if necessary.
Fear: Going deaf, essentially rendering him blind and useless.
Quirk: Agoraphobic

Equipment: Armor leggings, arm pieces, and right shoulder part. Cutting/welding torch in finger, lock pick built into finger.

Sonar Abilities*: 3
*Sonar Abilities: allows for the use of echolocation; stats affect the accuracy of sonar abilities. Includes improved hearing.

History: Built to be a superweapon, Echo was left incomplete by his creators until he was discovered hundreds of years later by space explorers. The incompetent engineers could not complete some of the features, leaving Echo blind, unable to fly, and mostly unprotected, with the exception of the parts of his armor upgrade that were already completed. The engineers managed to create a workaround for the lack of a visual system, managing to rig up an echolocation system instead. He is currently searching the universe for someone with the technological prowess required to complete him.

Ki Color: Red

Basic attacks:
Martial Arts: Ability to fight in close combat.

Energy Blast: Fires a ball of energy mixed with a blast of sound. When it hits an object, it ricochets off and scatters into smaller and weaker balls, which continue to follow this model unti there is nothing left.

Sound Cannon: Fires a high-frequency blast of sound from his mouth, which can deafen an enemy and often confuses them as well. If it misses, it will often bounce off of the first thing it hits, weakening in strength and changing in frequency, much like an echo. Various frequencies and levels of intensity can be used for the best effect.

Super: Megablast: Turns arms into a single cannon, which focuses Echo’s Ki into a massive ball, then fires it like a mortar with the power of an artillery strike.

Ultimate: Doomsday: Echo’s true purpose is revealed, when he releases a massive wave of destruction in the form of weapons that sprout from every part of his body. This arsenal is unmatched, even by nuclear standards. This attack was installed as a desperation move in the case of a dire emergency, and as such will activate the self-destruct mechanism, which will vaporize Echo to prevent his body from falling into the wrong hands.

Race: Konatsa
Ki Color: Gray and black

Physical description: Silky red-gray hair, amber eyes. Light, flaxy skin, sharp-featured face. Large, tapered ears. Short at about 1.7 meters. Lithe body and musculature. Wears a gray and black mantle with a heavy blue cape. Standard blue belt, gloves, and boots.

Personality: Peaceful, happy, cryptic.
Likes: Music.
Dislikes: Strife.
Fighting mentality: Calm, relentless.
Fear: Dying alone.
Quirk: Pansexual.

The Reversal stat relates Basteen's ability to gain Ki points and even HP from attacks.

HISTORY: Konatsa. I wish I hadn't left. I found nothing. Then, darkness. Then... everything, everywhere, forever. Now I can see. I know what to do, not how. But I will learn.

BASIC ATTACKS:

Martial Arts: Hand-to-hand combat.

Beam Ball: A light, efficient attack.

Brand: A ray of energy which travels out of the body through any place on its surface. The whole area heats up and glows brightly, which can be quite a sight depending on the area in question.

SUPER MOVE:

Myriad: An attack in which millions of rays of energy spew out from Basteen's body. It doesn't damage anything on the physical scale.

ULTIMATE MOVE:

Dreamtide: The absolute solution. Basteen releases a wave of energy which manifests as a gentle repelling force, a sort of white hole effect. With it, he creates peace. There exists no discord in an area marked by this action. However, it does tire him a great deal.

Name: Kyros
Race: Synthethic Robot/Andriod
Ki Energy Color: Silver

Physical Description: White Armor with Dark Blue Trimming.

Personality: Serious with some doubts at certain times or moments of confusion.

History: The core base of Kyros is made of a silver protein liquid that was artificial made in a laboratory.  The liquid runs throughout the robot to control and maintain and think for the robotic body.  The liquid however is unable to survive outside of the shell body and will abruptly die coming outside of the body.  To counter this problem the robot is designed to be self-healing.  Being organic at the core from this liquid creates the ability to adapt quickly and think on almost normal terms of other sentient beings, but being raised within the confines of the robotic body and trained since creation to follow orders as a robot other sentient feelings such as emotions are almost non-existent.  The Race that created Kyros is long extinct and it is unknown who they were, but from Kyros' design he was built to be a soldier type series.  Kyros now roams the galaxy trying to figure out his purpose in life as well as understand the new emotions that are starting to show due to his interactions with the various beings in the universe.  Emotions range from hate and love and influence his decision at times at being either nice or cruel to others.

BASIC ATTACKS:

Blaster: Multi-firing barrel gun shots energy blasts from the right hand.

Shield Bash: Smashes a foe with the shield to knock them back.

Jet Rush: A jet boost which gives a burst of great speed to ram an enemy or move quickly in a short distance.

FINISHING MOVES:

SUPER: Death blossom: Jet booster spins him around while Blaster gun goes into firing shooting in all directions while in the air.  Appears random but Scouter ensures it only hits desired targets or doesn't hit allies.

ULTIMATE: Power Shot: Side panels on arm canon power up all barrels to release at once into one giant shot.

[Mage]

Name: 13
Race: Android
Gender: Male
Ki Color: Reddish Gold

Personality: Serious, with little sense of humor. Very negative, but not entirely fatalistic.

Physical Appearance: Average height, weight and build. Designed for assasination and terrorism, so he blends in fairly well. Brown hair, slightly scruffy, green eyes, week-old stubble. Wears earth-standard clothing(blue jeans, t-shirts, black jacket, etc). No piercings, tatoos, or other defining marks to make him stand out. If he didn't try to kill you, he'd seem entirely human.

History: Designed by a terrorist group, 13 was designed to be the perfect soldier. Big surprise, I know. Anyway, his personality wasn't quite what his creators wanted it to be. When they couldn't control him, they tried to destroy him. He killed them, but was seriously injured in the process. It was then that he discovered the secondary aspect of his Meditation Drive, installed to make him last longer against tougher fighters. Using his Ki to speed his healing(he's basically a modified human, so healing is more accurate than repair), he brought himself from the brink of death to full physical strength within seconds.

Feeling guilty for the death of his creators, he decided to swipe some clothes and gear from a nearby town and leave the planet. He now wanders the galaxy as a drifter, browsing bars and getting into fights in the most ridiculous places.

Meditation Drive*: 1

*The Meditation Drive allows 13 to regenerate his Ki at a rate equal to (Skill Level)*2. It also uses Ki to regen HP at equal rate at the cost of halting Ki regen until HP is fully restored. HP regen option must be activated manually.

Equipment: Laser pistol(Attack 3, has 10 shots per battery pack), Knife, Ballistic armor in his jacket(+1 Defense)

Attacks:

Hand-to-hand: Your basic physical beatdown.

Healing: 13 can project his Ki to heal/repair another person, at the cost of 1 Ki point per HP.

Focus Shot: A defense-piercing** ball of focused energy, about the size of a fingernail. 2 Ki per shot.

SUPER: Focus Laser: By taking a single turn to focus all the energy in his body, he can fire a beam that has the same defense-breaking properties as his Focus Shot, but with a lot more kick and longer duration

ULTIMATE: Focus Cannon: This move takes every last reserve he's got, disabling even his Meditation Drive for about 5 minutes. The result though, is more than worth the pain. If any of 13's attacks will blow up a planet, this one will do it first. It loses it's defense-piercing capability though.

**Defense-Piercing just means that it's harder to block and will dissipate another beam it's fired into.

[Shadow]

Name: Krilo
Race: Necroli
Gender: Male
Ki Color: Black

Physical Appearence: Tall, slim, not alot of muscle mass. Although he may look weak, he is an expert at hand to hand combat. White hair, sickly pale skin, grayish eyes. Wears a purple tunic, lavender shoes, dark brown pants, and has a purple pauldren on his right shoulder. Has a scar on the left side of his face.

History: Born on the planet of Necrolin, a barren, dark wasteland of a world where the people struggle to survive everyday, he studied martial arts under his father, one of the greatest fighters on his homeworld. However, when he was 18 a group of assassins killed his father and his entire family in a massive fire. He managed to escape the fire, but was not left unscarred. A blaze managed to burn the left side of his face, leaving him scarred for life. He then escaped in fear that the assassins would come after him and continued to train on many different worlds like Namek. He is now a great martial artist

Personality: Has a dry sense of humor, is mostly serious. Can have quite the mouth on him sometimes
Likes: Coffee, a good fight
Dislikes: Saiyens, de-caf

SUPER: Thousand Jabs: A incredible array of fast and powerful punches, the oppenent normally can't block all of them in time. However, these punches, altough quick, can be quite weak.

ULTIMATE: Necrolin's Force: All of Krilo's energy goes into this massive punch that can pierce concrete, this is guarentied to put the hurting on someone.Also wears him out for 2 turns

Name: Sorn.

Gender: Male.

Race: Namek.

Physical Description: Pretty much your basic battle Namek. Sorn is dressed in a red battle gi, along with a short robe, and black fingerless gloves that go to his elbow. He also has a couple of scars on his head and face, the most prominant one is over his right eye, which he keeps closed.

Personality: Sorn is the take-charge sort of guy. He won't take no for an answer and he won't give a chance to attack in battle.
Likes: Battle and power.
Dislikes: Weakness.
Fighting Mentality: Seriously, he strikes his opponent where it hurts as fast as he can and won't let up.
Fear: Death, traitors, peaches.
Quirk: Allergic to Saiyans.

History: My name is Sorn. I was born and bred for battle. I wrangled a group to get at the artifacts because I'm not strong enough alone. I tried and barely escaped with my life.

Ki Color: Dark Green.

Basic attacks:
Hammer-Fist style - Sorn uses his elasticity to make his fists hard as stone, not only does he do that, he stretches to make an assault.

Explosive Wave - Sorn makes an explosion of energy around him to knock back opponents so he can try and retake an advantage.

Beserker Charge - Sorn rushes after/into his enemy and unleashes a flurry of combos.

Super: Sorn enlarges his fist to the size of four basketballs and sock the enemy in his, well everything.

Ultimate: Sorn opens his right eye and pours an enourmous energy out of it.


Equipment: Pocket scouter.
