RPLog: Estate of Emergancy

[23:06] <Prox> On your way back from Risus, a heavy rain began to fall.
[23:07] <Prox> You can tell that the valley you are in will soon be flooded.
[23:07] <Prox> There are some hills to the east, that you start heading towards.
[23:08] <Prox> After a silent time of climbing amongst the rocks, you find a long pathway leading towards a large, dark estate.
[23:08] <Prox> As you near the gates, they open noisily.
[23:08] <Prox> ---
[23:08] <Boris> Electric gates, fancy
[23:08] <Armature> wait where noisy sound effect
[23:09] <Prox> KRRREAAAH
[23:09] <Boris> somebody should really look into having them oiled though
[23:09] <Shadow> I wouldnt want to toyuch those
[23:09] <Armature> ^@^
[23:09] <Boris> I meant they're opened by a power system, not they're eleftrified
[23:09] <Minerva> Well, lets head on in, i dont want my hair wet any longer
[23:09] <Boris> yeah, the rain is messing with my tech, I like shelter
[23:09] * Minerva heads towards estate
[23:09] <Shadow> Yeah my armors chaffing
[23:09] <Prox> you trudge up the muddy pathway onto the verandah.
[23:09] * Armature strikes a pose, walks fowards to certain traps
[23:09] <Boris> verandah is a cool word
[23:10] <Prox> The doors are rotten and broken. It seems that they can be easily kicked in.

[23:10] * Shadow kicks doors open
[23:10] * Kurisu_Murei kicks one of the doors open
[23:10] <Boris> way to check your options
[23:10] <Boris> these guys are gonna get us killed rushing into obviousland
[23:10] * Armature rolls eyer (balls)
[23:10] <Boris> but fine, follows
[23:10] <Minerva> knocking is for wimps

[23:11] <Prox> The entry hall is large and quiet.
[23:11] * Minerva enters
[23:11] <Armature> And people who don't leap forward into traps!
[23:11] * Armature lies facedown, chokes on mu-wait no

[23:11] <Prox> Since the windows are covered in grime, you can't see much of the interior.
[23:11] <Boris> Did anybody bring a light source?
[23:11] <Prox> However, when you walk in more of the room is visible.
[23:11] <Minerva> Ah, the dark my kind of place
[23:11] <Shadow> Nice place
[23:11] <Boris> guess not, at least we can see it all right
[23:12] * Armature tries to light helmet cross, realizes its gone, cries
[23:12] <Shadow> Im used to darkness
[23:12] <Boris> are there any signs of what happened here?
[23:12] <Prox> A wide flight of stairs lies straight in front of you, and two double doors are on both sides of the room.
[23:12] <Boris> what about this room, any signs of a disaster?
[23:12] <Shadow> Hmm.......
[23:12] * Minerva rings hair dry
[23:13] <Prox> It seems as if the house is thousands of years old.
[23:13] <Boris> just abandoned then, eh
[23:13] <Shadow> Wow its holding up for such an old place
[23:13] <Prox> The carpet is black with age, and the paintings are near unrecognizable.
[23:13] <Armature> Minny, your some sort of witch ain't ya?

[23:19] <Prox> You follow the left hallway. You can see two doors on your left, but the rest of the hallway is too dark for even a ninja to see through.

[23:23] <Boris> well this ain't a good place to sleep

[23:24] <Prox> It seems to have once been a sitting room. The fireplace is old and unused, and the davenports are arranged neatly on the persian carpet.

[23:24] <Prox> The carpet is in very good condition, however.
[23:24] * Shadow enters the room
[23:24] <Boris> other than, you know, the broken glass
[23:24] <Boris> from the windows
[23:24] <Shadow> Wonder why the carpets good
[23:24] <Prox> There is no glass on the floor of the sitting room, strangely.

[23:25] <Shadow> Something must have jumped outside or cleaned uo then
[23:25] <Prox> There is no blood on the floor, but there is a large velvet rope off to the right.

[23:26] * Armature waltzes up to fireplace, tries to light w/ frames

[23:27] * Armature turns off flamethrower but keeps it ready to re-light

[23:28] <Prox> The floor near the windows is rotten with rainwater.

[23:28] <Prox> there are 3 couches, and 2 poufe chairs.

For the record, anybody who participated in this RP got 5 xp for putting up with my attempt at non-linear gameplay, with an additional 5 for fighting the mimic.

The mission rank was a Z.

The Lancaster Mansion is now a location on the map.

Also, oh god I never wanted this RP to be logged delete it oh god please god oh please delete it.
