This show is funny because the premise is just so stupid. Yugi-oh was already at a COME ON! level. I mean a card game that's so important it determines the FATE OF THE WORLD! COME ON! I actualy stumbled onto GX on night and it was pretty funny becauase of lines like "dueling prep school", "PhD in Dueling", and just the general I can't believe they're taking this all so serious. This would probably be a NO FUCKING WAY! level. I mean they take all this stuff so seriously, NO FUCKING WAY!

I saw GX, i really liked it to be honest.  I think they've done a good job of re-vamping a series, it's less serious so far, no fate of the world.  And they don't bring back the old cast (though you do see Yugi for a few moments in the first episode).  I want to see what direction they take it in.  Also as i said before they sort of pulled a Harry Potter with it as there are different houses each containing different traits to it's members.  Though these are based on the three God cards, and not school founders.

What I'm wondering is why so many of the monsters are electrical and computer based. And why all of the women seem to be in Obilesk. I haven't seen enough of whatever that yellow team is to be sure about them, but the Red group definatly has none, unless they went to a different welcome dinner or something.
