I wouldn't mind seeing Cartoon Network finish the old Yugioh series and run GX after it. For kids just getting into GX they may not know who Kaibaman, Kaiba, and Yugi are much less anything about the Egyption Gods and millennium items. Running them together would make more sense wouldn't you think?

Not really considering that GX has stepped far enough from the orriginal story line that you don't see any of those things come into play.  Unless something's happened with new episodes I am unaware of.

There was an espisode where someone dressed up like Yugi, and another one where someone dressed up like Kaiba, although to be it seemed more like Kaiba dressed like someone dressed as himself so he could go around in puplic without drawing as much of a crowd.

I know in the first ep, they showed Yugi.Other than that no cameos that I have seen... and have they explained how Jaden can talk to Kuriboh?
