A portal from another dimension has opened up in the capital spewing thousands of demons into our mortal realm. Extremely hostile and impervious to modern weapons the foul creaures are making short work of the human race. Despite the desperate nature of the current situation you feel compelled to visit your local museum. As you close in on the museum demons arrive and begin to tear the town to pieces. As you run through the front door you try to block out the screams of men as they're torn in half and cries of women as they're impregnated with demon seed.
Once you reach the back of the museum you discover what has beckoned you, the souls of many great warriors of humanity's past stand. They will not stand idly by as man is wiped from the face of existence and are willing to sacrifice themselves to imbue an armor with special powers. These magical armor and weapons (and possibly a mount) will allow those pure of heart to vanquish the demons if their courage and determination are great enough.
