Very addictive game, It's like a typical Rpg, but if any of you have played the orginal, it's different becuase you can use the internet to find and talk with freinds.

I got me some pilot shades and a green feather in my hair and a custom made flight jacket.  Now I just need the golden slingshot and I'm ready to defend my town's skys from alien invaders.

Does anyone know if you can link a DS to a mac?

I think if you have a high speed connection and you go to Nintendo's website you can buy this little thingy that you plug into a USB port and it allows wireless DS play.

"As long as you have a wireless router that is compatible with the Nintendo WFC -- and almost all of them are -- then you will be able to connect to the Nintendo WFC from your home. For gamers who do not have a compatible wireless router, and do not wish to purchase one, Nintendo offers the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection USB Connector as an alternative. Unfortunately, this device is not compatible with Macintosh systems. You can still play by connecting at a local Hotspot, or purchasing a compatible wireless router."

I was never really a fan of Animal Crossing... any game that I have to play every day or it'll all go to crap.... just doesn't seem worth my time.

I have the original and enjoyed it while I played it, though as said, having to tend to it every day can be frustrating.  There should be a way to "lock" your progress in case you don't plan on playing for a few days or something.

You see, the trick is to remember the last day that you played the game, then one year later (or when ever you pick it back up again) you just reset the game clock back to that last date and everything should be the same as when you left it.  Course if you ever went to present time you'd have a heck of a lot of weeds to pull.
