Halloh all fybertech.  My IRC is failing me all of a sudden, and PS is having trouble with it too.  It's saying "connection refused" every time, even in Java chat.  All other internets seem to be functioning just fine.  Odd that.

Doop, sorry it took so long to notice anyone posted..!

Surely your ISP isn't blocking IRC or something.  Try connecting to another IRC server to make sure that's not the case first (unless you already do).  Then I dunno, try connecting on different ports.  like "/server irc.fybertech.com:6667", and go through 6667 to 6670 I think it is.  5555 is another I opened for it.

Hrm, none of the ports make a difference, and it's not just IRC.  I'm connected to the Ubuntu channel right now.  I'm not sure what else to try aside from simply power cycling everthing.

I just dunno what it could be since you're apparently able to get on the website and all just fine.  I never block anything by port, just whole IPs, and if you ever accidentally got into that list you wouldn't even be on the forum.  All I can figure is something is going on between your ISP and where the server is, since you've tried the Java client as well as from PS's connection apparently, which I assume is the same ISP.
