Cinco De Mayo
« on: May 05, 2006, 10:13:35 am »
Is it a strange sandwich topping, or some kind of mysterious infection?

Use this space to make up your own strange meaning for this Holiday, Cinco de Mayo.
One day, when the zombies rise and destroy humanity; I will survive, I will live on, I will take your best stuff for myself.

I think it's something about Mexican independence. Only theirs has salsa, funny masks, costumes, and nachos..... and lots of explosives

Sorry, no. Cinco de Mayo celebrates a battle in which France tried to take over Mexico, ¡y la ejército mexicano derrotó el ejército francés, cuál fue doble el tamaño! ¡Arriba!

...I apologize.

We can worry about that later, Gir, right now we need to destroy the humans!

Please we all know that Cinco de Mayo is really just an excuse for people to get wasted in the middle of day and not feel bad about it.

You are all wrong (with the exception of that getting wasted idea) It is a day where you are to ask for 5 helpings of mayo.
One day, when the zombies rise and destroy humanity; I will survive, I will live on, I will take your best stuff for myself.

At first I thought Cinco de Mayo was the day of the dead but that's Dia de Los Muertos.
I'd rather go hunting with Dick Cheney, then go for a car ride with Ted Kennedy.Neuf sed.

I always thought it celebrates how the Mexicans sank the F.S. Mayo in 1817.
