Papercraftfag here, oragami for a change,
I made a post here a week or so ago about making a flower from the 3D swan template.
I've made this to give to my girlfriend.
Opinions?
Details:
Pieces - 724
Sheets of A4: 46
Items used: Paper, craftknife, red sharpie.
Time: 8-10 Hours - made pieces whilst watching TV so wasn't that boring.
Dumping 5 pics.

I'll make a tutorial if more people seem interested.
At the moment this is my only model to hand, I make models like this daily/weekly but give them all out as gifts. I'll start posting them on here before I give them away from now on though.

After looking up the swan design Google, I think I'll be able to make this based on the pictures. Actualy, I feel somewhat compelled to make a trangle-making-and-stacking-robot, but that might be a little too ambitious for me right now.

In any case, does anyone else think this might be a neat way of serving fancy colored napkins? I'm not sure if it'd be easy finding a set sturdy enough to handle it's own weight stacked up, though since there dosn't look to be any signifigant overhang, I think it'll work out for this design.

Best of luck if you do go ahead and try and make that robot.
It'd be a great way of serving napkins, but very time consuming and they wouldn't be too sturdy in comparison.
